Many entrepreneurs focus on the “how” and “what” of their business, but they don’t focus on the power of Why they do it. If you haven’t read Simon Sinek’s book Start with the why, I strongly recommend it.
According to Sinek, the first thing great leaders should do is figure out why they are doing what they are doing: what is your goal, what is your belief, what is your cause? Its main point is that people don’t buy WHAT you do – they buy WHY you do it. If your goal is to do business with people who believe in what you believe in, then you are on your path to success. Sinek’s “why” is to “inspire people to do the things that inspire them”.
The Power of “Whys”
A good example of a successful “why” is Dr. Martin Luther King and his famous speech “I Have a Dream”. In 1963 there was no way of telling anyone who would attend the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom when the talks would be and when they would begin. But because people are Dr. Backing King and his belief that civil rights are important, they found out and more than 200,000 people showed up on the right day and at the right time. Because of his passion, audiences believed in him, and it became a memorable turning point in the civil rights movement.

Understand your “why”
You have to actively think about your “why” and look for it. Most people don’t. A great sign that you have found it for that particular season of your life is when you can’t stop thinking about it. It gets you up in the morning and is the last thing you think about at night.
Sometimes your “why” is a “who”. You may be driven to stand up because you have young children at home who love you and who you love and who you want to give the best possible lives. Or you have a sick parent and want to make sure you are there to help, so get up early and stay up late to see your why.
I will be very honest. I struggled for a long time with the concept of my “why”.
I went to many groups and attended many sessions where the leaders talked about their “why” and told us we had to have one. I struggled because I thought the “why” was too general, like “I want to take care of my family” or “I want to make a difference”.
Remember, this is just my personal philosophy, but I now believe that your “why” will be revealed by being disciplined and doing what you are supposed to do.
It will be difficult to find the power of “why” if you aren’t doing what you’re supposed to do or doing the things in your life that aren’t that important (watching TV all the time, playing video games, surfing the internet) . Internet, being on social media continuously, etc.). I’m not saying you can’t do these things. What I am saying is that if you can discipline yourself it will bring clarity to your life and your “why” will be so much easier to pin down.
“Who” + “What” = “Why”
I found my “why” when I combined the “who” of my life with the “what” of my life. Let me explain.
The “who” in my life is my family, especially my wife and daughter. The “what” in my life has long been investing in real estate. And after giving more than 10,000 hours of my life for the “what”, I wanted to give something back to real estate investors and create value.
The “who” and “what” in my life are cited as my “why”: I want to help stressed entrepreneurs who are frustrated not knowing their numbers and not making a profit by cleaning up their books, their numbers for them and implementing a system to increase and prioritize their profits. I want to enable them to be less stressed out, be sure of their numbers and get the profit they need to realize their vision and give their family the best possible life.
That wakes me up in the morning and keeps me up at night. This is what drives me when situations and circumstances become difficult. This helps me keep growing when I want to relax. This helps me learn a new system to protect and increase my bottom line.

Your “why” changes over time
I would also like to share my thoughts on your “why”. I believe your “why” will change over the course of life.
You may say, “What do you mean, that it is changing? When I have discovered my “why”, isn’t it always my “why”? “
In different times of life and business, the “why” of a person will evolve, develop and mature. For example, when it comes to having children, your life after birth will be different than it was before, giving you a new “why”.
The sooner you understand the power of the “why” and its meaning, the sooner you will have the key to real, lasting success for you and your company.
to overcome fear
If you are stressed, anxious, or anxious, are you prone to action in your business or personal life? Of course not.
What I’m trying to convey here is best said by the legendary character Forrest Gump: “Lieutenant Dan invested me in a kind of fruit company. Then I got a call from him saying we don’t have to worry about money anymore. And I said that’s good! One less thing. “
I don’t want one of your big worries and fears in life that the business you have worked hard on is not profitable and does not stay open. I want to help make this “one less thing” to worry about.
If you really want to get to your “why” and stay on the path, you have to remove as many barriers and obstacles as possible along the way, and one of the big obstacles is not to have a profitable business. Profit really decodes your “why”.
Making a profit gives you the key to focus on what you really want to focus on. If you are always worried about cash flow and profitability then I think it’s a safe bet to say that during these times you are not thinking about your “why” except that you are discouraged that you are not doing a good job after yours “Why” to grab it.
The power of profit and knowing numbers will help you identify the things in your life that really matter. When you don’t have to worry about failure, you can focus on your family, the areas of your business that need attention, and your own growth – without worrying about whether you will be in business the following Monday .
Another way to see the power of “why” is to look at your company’s vision and mission statement. The vision is the reason for the establishment of the company, the intention of the founder. The mission is how the company and its employees achieve this future.
Instead of focusing on making a profit, think about why you are in business and try your best to hold on to it. You need to trust yourself, your passion, and your beliefs to steer you in the right direction. So here it is again …
